New Hope Church Outdoor LED Digital Display Sign Conversion

Digital Sign Project Details

New Hope Church had been contemplating upgrading its existing Monument Sign and incorporating an LED dynamic display.

Minnesota LED Signs was invited to propose upgrading or retrofitting what they already had in place or starting all new.

After several discussions with Marco Villar, the church’s Facility Director, along with leaders at the church, such as Jeff Velasco, its Creative Communications Director,  MN LED Signs conducted a thorough Site Study, which included extensive communication and meetings with City Planners.

MN LED Signs’ collaborative approach with the church and city resulted in delivering their preferred direction of utilizing their existing structure while helping them to navigate code constraints to maximize the digital display area, focusing their investment on the digital display messaging center, and enabling them to most effectively grab the attention of the thousands of vehicles driving by every day with impactful graphics and messaging.

Installation was complicated by unknown conditions present under the existing sign structure.

Minnesota LED Signs reengineered the structure and provided the city with an alternative plan, overcoming a hurdle that could have stopped the project in its tracks.

The result speaks for itself, fulfilling the original design plan (at least that which is seen above ground) and providing New Hope Church with a cost-effective marketing and outreach platform that they own and control to expand their mission and grow their congregation.
